Manganese Steel Inserts |

Manganese steel inserts are used for heavy haul traffic reducing substantially the wear on critic area. They also offer the alternative of replacing the inserts once they wear out. They are manufactured in rail sections between 80 lbs to 136 lbs. |

Standard Switch Point | ||||||||||||||||
They are widely used in industrial spurs and lines with low traffic. They require low maintenance and their life expectancy is lower than the Manganese Steel Inserts. They are manufactured in rail sections between 80 lbs to 100 lbs. |

Samson Switch Points |
||||||||||||||||
Samson Switch Points are used on high traffic and high speed turnouts like a No. 20. The switch points require that the support rail be manufactured to protect the tip. It's "V" shaped form makes an even wear that prevents the tip from breaking. They are often used in Spring and RBM frogs. |
